Mr. Wang graduated from Jilin University with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and technology and earned a master's degree in medicinal chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences and a master's degree in law from Shanghai University. Over the past years, Mr. Wang has represented nearly 1,000 domestic patent applications and PCT international patent applications, and hundreds of foreign patent applications, involving the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, South Korea, India, Canada, Australia and other countries. In addition, he has represented dozens of patent reexaminations and patent invalidation cases. He has also successfully represented many patent litigation cases in the chemical engineering and pharmaceutical fields with a winning rate of over 80% including the patent administrative litigation cases held in the Supreme People’s Court of The People’s Republic of China. Furthermore, he has led the team to complete dozens of large-scale FTO investigations, and patentability analysis and appraisal projects. He has also led teams to help several well-known venture capital funds to conduct pre-investment legal & IP due diligence, evaluate or eliminate investment risks for the high-tech enterprises to be invested in. Mr. Wang has served hundreds of well-known pharmaceutical companies and organizations. In addition, Mr. Wang has been actively engaged in intellectual property training lectures and speeches in Chinese or English which are up to nearly one hundred.
